        • OPTICLEAN MILK SYSTEM CLEANING TABLETS

For optimal performance and hygiene, the system is designed to be used with OptiClean cleaning tablets. Damage or malfunction caused by the use of other cleaning agents is not covered under warranty.

As the manufacturer of LATTE+, Animo, we strongly advise using the specially developed cleaning product OptiCean Milk Cleaning Tabs. This product has been tested with the LATTE+ and ensures reliable cleaning of the internal milk frothing system.

          • Automatic Check: During the cleaning cycle, the device automatically verifies whether the cleaning product is present in the system.
          • System Lock: If no cleaning product is detected, the milk frothing system will be automatically blocked to ensure hygienic and safe operation.
          • Use of Other Products: Using alternative cleaning products may prevent the system from detecting the cleaning agent, and the cleaning procedure may not function correctly.

          Risks of Insufficient Cleaning

          • Build-up of bacteria or mold in the milk frothing system.
          • Poor milk froth quality or altered taste of milk products.
          • Potential health risks for users from consuming contaminated milk products.
          • Reduced device lifespan and possible malfunctions due to contamination of internal pipes and components.
        • OptiClean, daily and weekly Milk Cleaning tabs

          • To maintain optimal hygiene and performance of the milk frothing system, daily cleaning with alkaline milk-cleaning tablets is required. These tablets effectively remove fresh milk residues and prevent buildup in the internal components.
          • In addition, a weekly cleaning cycle using an acidic milk-cleaning tablet is recommended. This deeper cleaning step helps dissolve mineral deposits and stubborn residues that cannot be removed with daily alkaline cleaning alone.

Following this cleaning schedule ensures consistent beverage quality, reduces the likelihood of system malfunctions, and contributes to the long-term reliability of the equipment.
