        • Dear Customer,

Thank you for taking part in our IoT field test. We truly appreciate your willingness to help us shape the next generation of connected coffee machines.

As part of this test, you’ll receive a gateway that connects your machine to our IoT platform. The goal is to gather valuable feedback from you — so together, we can build a dashboard that truly fits your needs.

Please note that this is still a developing project. The dashboard will continue to improve over time, and to give you an idea of what we’re building, you’ll see some illustrative demo data in the current version.

Your feedback is essential to making this solution a success, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences.

Share your feedback by sending an email directly to iotsupport@animo.nl

          Best regards,

        • MACHINES/ Settings

Here, you will be able to read and change specific settings on this machine in the future.

Consider, for example, adjusting the coffee strength. Soon, this will be possible remotely, without the need to send a technician.

More on this later. First, let's go to the map to see where your machines are located.

        • MACHINES/ Map

When you go to MAP, you will see where your machines are located on the Map.

You can filter by customer, machine type, and status.

Here you can see your contact details.

You can set your dashboard language here, change your password, and reset your MFA (Multi Factor Autorisation, also known as 2-factor autorisation).

          Click on the Notifications tab.

        • ACCOUNT/ Notifications

You probably won't be staring at the dashboard all day.

That's why we think it's useful to let you select the notifications you want to be actively informed about. You will then receive an email notification that you have set up for one or more selected machines.

Select alert types per group. You will receive live notifications in your mailbox. Give it a try.

To assign a coin type to a new coin channel, please proceed as follows:

          1. Set all DIL switches 1–10 of the lower switching block downwards to OFF.
          2. Set DIL switch 9 Teach mode (learn) upwards to ON. Now the device is in teach mode to teach the coin channels.
          3. Set DIL switch 3 (channel 13) upwards to ON.
          4. Insert at least 10 coins of the new coin type/token into the coin validator. After the 10th coin has been inserted, the acceptance gate is operated once (solenoid attraction sound).
          5. Set DIL switch 9 toward the bottom to OFF. Successful saving is signalled by the acceptance gate attracting once again.
          6. Set DIL switch 3 (channel 13) downwards to OFF. The token will now be accepted by the coin validator as payment (highest coin value).

        • MDB Protector

          Art. No. 1011058

          Implemented in production; week 41/2022

This part must be placed between the MDB cable and the WH Berlin coin acceptor.

This component protects the MDB input on the main controller against any electromotive force (EMF) that can arise during repeated tightening of the blocking coil during programming of the WH Berlin coin acceptor

        • Connect the MDB protector [1011058] between the MDB cable and the coin acceptor
