• C9 flowmeter error

      • A C9 error can be caused by several problems:

        1. Check water pressure on hose towards the machine.
        2. Check if the sockets that supply the coffee containers with 220Volt AC are still functioning. Do this by activating the container heating buttons and check that the pilot lights on container still light up (see photo)

If the container lighting does work:

        • Continue with slide nr.9

If the pilot light does NOT work:

        • See next slides

      • Take out the electric plug from the wall outlet

      • First check this fuse 1,6 ampere (quick/5 x 20)

This fuse secures BOTH sockets (L+R)

      • Remove the right-side panel

      • Take out this fuse and check if it is OK

        If not: replace it by a new 4 A fuse (slow/5 x 20)

      • In case of no power to the sockets:

        Always inspect all containers!

Water can be inside because of wrong cleaning procedures, causing shortcut inside

        • Take out screw inspection cover
        • Take out cover for a clear view inside
      • Check interior container on water: dry container when this is the case.

Take a close look at the pilot light: if it shows black burn marks, the pilot light must be renewed

      • In case of 4A fuse Ok and still a C9 error:

Check condition of the connector on top of the flowmeter. Look for any signs of leaking causing bad contact on either flowmeter or mainboard connector.

Renew flowmeter + cable in case of bad connections

Note: Connector marked with a "F" should be fitted at flowmeter side.

The other way around will not work and also lead to a C9 error!

      • In case the Flowmeter + cable looks 100% OK:

        Next step: check the inletvalve.

After start of a brewcycle this inletvalve gets 2-3 seconds 220Volt.

If the valve is mechanically obstructed/not opening, the electronics get no pulse from the flowmeter and the electronics shut down the 220 volt to the inletvalve. The display shows the C9 error again.

Renew the inletvalve in case of power is 2-3 seconds on coil, but no water is passed on towards the flowmeter.

    • Change battery/set model

      • When your machine diplay is:

        1. Set to English language
        2. Maximum amount is 5 liters
