• Resetting safety clixons boiler Excelso

      • This instruction is valid for ALL the Excelso coffee maker models and even for the previous model: A140

The safety buttons boiler need to be to be resetted if:

        1. Pilotlight(s) in the top on/off switchs still light up
        2. The hot plates are still getting warm (not on the Thermos pot models)
        3. The brewing indicator light (left/next to top switch) is not "on" anymore despite the fact there is enough water in the back-side reservoir
      • Make sure you disconnect the electrical main cord of the Excelso machine from the wall-outlet

      • Remove the screw of the backpanel using a:

        •  T15 tork screwdriver
        • or
        • standard-flat sided screwdriver
      • Take out the backside panel for a clear view at the internal components

      • Reset both safety buttons on top of the stainless steel boiler inside the backside compartment of the Excelso coffeemaker

If you hear a "click" while pushing the red buttons, you know for certain they were "out" (of order)

Most likely your boiler will now heat again

      • Replace the back-side panel and fit the screw back in again.

        1. Fill the waterresrvoir with cold water up to 4 cm from the top
        2. Wait a few minutes to get the air out of the system
        3. Connect powercord of the machine to the wall outlet and fit a filter and (thermos) Jug to find out the brewing pilot light is "on" again after you turn on the main switch
